My approach

I aim to be like an old friend — making sure you feel comfortable being yourself, and then quietly capturing your most genuine feelings. That is the photograph worth keeping.

The story

A beautiful mix of origins

I'm a Brazilian-born Australian and European citizen with Portuguese-Jewish heritage. My dad's grandmother was an Indigenous woman from an Amazon tribe — beautiful olive skin and dark eyes. On my mum's side, my grandmother carried Nordic traits: the kindest lady, with milky skin and loving blue eyes. What a mix — and I love embracing every part of it.

I truly believe we come from the same source, and that we are equal at our core.

I think it explains so much about me: being open-minded, a free spirit with the deepest wanderlust and a profound interest in human relationships. That curiosity led me to study Psychology first, and it shaped the photographer I became — one who works gently, building real trust before lifting the camera.

Moving abroad was one of the best decisions of my life. Despite my love and respect for my roots, settling in a country that challenged me to learn a new language and adapt to a new culture expanded my mind in ways I had never imagined.

Photography, to me, is the art of preserving what the eye forgets — a feeling, a glance, the warmth between two people.
